This fine and impressive antique emerald and diamond ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with an 18ct white gold diamond setting.
The millegrain decorated frame displays a square step cut natural emerald and an Old European round cut diamond, both individually eight claw set vertically in relief within the spiral twist design setting.
The 18ct white gold setting displays a further fourteen pavé set Dutch cut diamonds to complete the design.
The scrolling twist design integrates with the plain 18ct yellow gold ring shank hallmarked to the surface with the French guarantee mark for 18ct gold (eagle's head).
This antique 1920's dress ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report card.
"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
