0.22ct Ruby and 0.30ct Diamond, Enamel and 9 ct White Gold Brooch - Vintage 1955

This fine and impressive sweetheart brooch has been crafted in 9 ct white gold.

The pierced decorated heart-shaped frame is embellished with eleven round faceted cut rubies, alternating with eleven eight cut diamonds, all pavé set.

The heart design is surmounted with a coronet motif embellished with a further nine eight cut diamonds.

The upper portion of the crown features an impressive red hot enamel panel, completing the design.

This vintage brooch secures to the reverse with a white gold hinged pin and clasp.

This stunning heart-shaped brooch is hallmarked to the reverse of the setting with a maker's mark, the 9ct gold fineness marks (9, 375), the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor) and the date letter mark for 1955 (F).
