This fine and impressive vintage emerald ring has been crafted in 18ct white gold.
The pierced decorated, shaped design is ornamented with a central feature four claw set 0.45ct oval mixed cut emerald.
The emerald is surrounded by ten pave set modern brilliant round cut diamonds, and flanked to either side by a single individually four claw set modern brilliant round cut diamond.
The upper and lower borders of the design are embellished with a further twelve individually claw set tapered baguette cut diamonds.
The elevated, bifurcated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and amalgamate to form the plain ring shank.
The ring is hallmarked to the outer surface of the shank with a worn maker's mark and French mark for 18ct gold (eagle's head).
This vintage gemstone dress ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
