This fine and impressive Victorian style sapphire ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold.
The feature antique style heart shaped setting displays a feature 0.45ct pear cut blue sapphire, claw set in subtle relief to the centre of the design.
The sapphire is framed by thirteen individually claw set modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
The feature setting is ornamented to the upper border with a tied bow style setting, accented with a further seven eight-cut diamonds.
The pierced decorated scroll decorated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and meld with the plain hallmarked ring shank.
The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the maker's mark 'HBJ', the gold guarantee mark (crown), the 18ct gold fineness mark (750), the London Assay Office hallmark (leopard's head) and the date letter for 1977 (C).
This impressive vintage cocktail ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report card.
