This stunning antique emerald and diamond bar brooch has been crafted in platinum.
The feature 0.48 carat, square step cut, natural emerald is displayed to the centre of the Art Deco design in a subtly raised rectangular collet setting with millegrain decorated borders.
The two parallel rows which form the body of linear brooch are ornamented with well colour matched, eight-cut diamonds at either side of the feature emerald.
The arrangement terminates at each end with a geometric pierced decorated Art Deco design ornamented with further eight-cut diamonds.
All the borders around the pierced frame are embellished with fine quality millegrain decoration.
This fine example of original 1930's jewellery secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clip style fastening.
The antique brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report card.
This antique brooch is fitted to the original hinged leatherette presentation case which has a satin and velvet lined interior.
The retailer's mark P Laidlaw, Jeweller, 106 High Street, Perth is clearly marked to the interior of the lid.
