0.58 ct Diamond and 0.80 ct Ruby, 18 ct Yellow Gold Scarf / Cravat Clip - Antique Circa 1900

This exceptional, fine and impressive antique scarf clip has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold.

The hinged scarf/cravat clip has a plain and unembellished elliptical form, consisting of two portions.

The anterior portion is ornamented with a central collet set 0.58 ct Old European cut diamond, flanked on either side by a collet set oval cut ruby.

The posterior face of the antique clip has an engraved inscription, reading 'Hew Richard Stevenson, from his mother, 1900."

The two halves of this exceptional clip secure with a push fit clasp, and are fitted to the interior with a tapered tack to secure the scarf/cravat in place.

This gent's scarf clip has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 ct gold.

The clip is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
