This exceptional, fine and impressive Edwardian sapphire brooch has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold and platinum.
The pierced decorated bar design is ornamented to the centre with a collet set 0.64ct round faceted cut sapphire at the centre of the circular setting.
The feature sapphire is bordered by a circle of pavé set Dutch cut diamonds, with four seed pearls equally spaced in the setting.
The platinum geometric frame of the brooch is ornamented with a further two seed pearls to each side at the meeting points of the platinum geometric pattern.
The chevron shaped terminals of the brooch are accented with a total of twenty-eight Dutch cut pavé set diamonds.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and brooch clasp fastening.
This antique sapphire brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9ct yellow gold and platinum.
The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
