This fine and impressive Victorian brooch has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold with a silver setting.
The double bar is ornamented with a silver set frog design.
The frog is embellished with thirty-seven pavé set Dutch cut diamonds, and two cabochon cut imitation emeralds representing the eyes.
Either terminal of the double bar design is accented with a single seed pearl.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening.
The underside of the clasp hinge is struck with the maker's mark 'H.Y.'.
This antique Victorian frog brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9ct gold and silver.
The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
