The elevated, pierced decorated ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the hallmarked shank.

The interior of the shank bears a mark representing the diamond's carat content (80), while the exterior of the shank is struck with the French hallmarks for 18ct gold (eagle's head) and platinum (dog's head).
