This stunning ruby and diamond ring has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold.
The pierced decorated marquise shaped setting displays a central cushion cut pavé set Siam ruby, framed to the upper and lower borders with a pavé set round faceted cut Siam ruby.
The rubies are surrounded by eighteen individually set Old European round cut diamonds, in addition to four smaller diamonds to the incurves of the aforementioned central arrangment.
The elevated shoulders are each accented by a single pavé set Old European cut diamond and integrate with the main setting and hallmarked 18ct yellow gold ring shank.
The interior of the shank is hallmarked with the maker's mark (L&L), the gold guarantee mark (crown), the 18 ct gold fineness mark (18), the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor) and the date letter.
The shank is further marked with the contemporary engraved inscription '1903'.
The Siam ruby ring with diamonds is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card, in addition to a ruby report card and certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London*.
NOTE: * This documentation accredits the rubies originating in Thailand (Siam) and certifies that the gemstones shows no indications of heating; non-heated rubies are a scarcity.
