This fine and impressive antique Edwardian sapphire and diamond ring has been crafted in 10 ct yellow gold with a platinum setting.
The pierced decorated cluster design is ornamented with a 1.02 ct octagonal cut natural blue sapphire, collet set in platinum to the centre of the design.
The sapphire is encircled by an array of twelve individually platinum collet set Dutch cut diamonds.
This sapphire cluster design is encompassed with an octagonal shaped halo, ornamented with twenty-eight pavé set Dutch cut diamonds.
The elevated, pierced decorated tapering ring shoulders are ornamented with six further Dutch cut diamonds and integrate with the main setting, melding with the plain ring shank.
This antique sapphire and diamond ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 10 carat gold and platinum.
