This stunning, fine and impressive vintage emerald and gold ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with platinum settings.
The square shaped, stepped design is ornamented with a feature 1.02ct square step cut emerald, collet set in 18ct gold to the centre.
The emerald is flanked on either side by a pair of platinum collet set baguette cut diamonds.
The upper and lower borders of the emerald setting are embellished with a total of six platinum pavé set Old European round cut diamonds.
The elevated ring shoulders have a raised channel to the centre, melding with the plain ring shank and integrating with the main setting.
The ring is hallmarked to the outer surface of the shank with the French import marks for 18ct gold (owl) and platinum (masked man).
This vintage gemstone cocktail ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
