This stunning, fine and impressive honeycomb diamond pendant has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold.
The vintage frame (1978) has a geometric honeycomb design consisting of seven hexagonal shaped sections.
Each section is ornamented with an articulated six claw setting accented with a fluted design and embellished with an antique (circa 1900) Old European round cut diamond; the largest of which is the central stone (0.38ct).
The incurves of the outer border of the design are accented with an antique Old European round cut diamond, displayed within organic bud-shaped settings.
The pendant is suspended from a contemporary 18ct yellow gold 45.72cm/18" trace chain via an integrated, hinged ring loop attachment.
This chain may be replaced with a chain of choice on request.
This versatile pendant is fitted with an integrated hinged pin and security clasp to the reverse to allow it to be worn as a brooch if so desired.
The pendant is hallmarked to the reverse of the setting with the gold guarantee mark (crown), the 18ct gold fineness mark (750), the London Assay Office hallmark (leopard's head) and the date letter for 1978 (D).
The pendant is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report certificate for the central diamond, in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card for the supporting diamonds.
