This fine and impressive emerald and diamond cocktail ring has been crafted in platinum.
The pierced decorated setting is ornamented with a feature 1.43ct step cut emerald, four claw set in subtle relief to the centre of the design.
The emerald is encircled by four baguette cut diamonds, displayed alternately between four pairs of individually four claw set modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
The multi-strand ring shank flares and divides at the trifurcating ring shoulders, the central strand integrating with the main setting.
This vintage 1970's dress ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.
The ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report card.
"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
