This stunning, fine and impressive cabochon cut emerald ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with an 18ct white gold setting.
The pierced decorated setting is ornamented with a feature collet set 14.5ct emerald cabochon.
The emerald is flanked on either side, vertically and horizontally, by four crescent shaped 18ct white gold settings, creating a quatrefoil shaped design.
The crescent shaped settings are ornamented with a total of twenty-six pavé set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
The elevated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank.
This vintage 1940's cocktail ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18ct gold.
The ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
