This stunning, fine and impressive antique emerald and diamond ring has been crafted in 18 carat white gold.
The substantial Art Deco style pierced decorated setting displays an exceptional feature four claw set 15.59ct emerald cut emerald in relief to the centre of the design.
The impressive emerald is bordered by twenty pavé set eight-cut diamonds, in four equal linear arrays.
The feature angular elevated, pierced decorated setting features twenty eight-cut diamonds accenting a floriated design and elevated tapering shoulders incorporating a further ten diamonds, blending seamlessly with the plain ring shank.
The 15.59 carat emerald and diamond ring is hallmarked to the outer surface of the ring shank with the French mark for 18ct gold (eagle's head).
This emerald and diamond dress ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card for the diamonds, in addition to an emerald report certificate from The Gem and Pearl Laboratory Limited, 43 Kirby Street, London*.
Such original Art Deco examples of this exceptional quality and set with stunning large emeralds are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
NOTE: * The Gem & Pearl Laboratory has certified the natural emerald originating in Colombia and verifies that the gemstone shows evidence of moderate clarity enhancement.
"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
