This stunning, fine and impressive sapphire and diamond ring has been crafted in platinum.
The pierced decorated ring displays a stunning feature four claw set 16.31ct natural blue oval faceted mixed cut Ceylon sapphire.
The stunning sapphire is displayed within a substantial platinum setting, encircled by a scalloped millegrain decorated border set with twenty-one pavé set diamonds, in a combination of Old European and eight-cut.
The scalloped border is encircled by a further sixteen impressive individually collet set diamonds.
The subtly elevated ring shoulders are embellished with millegrain decorated chevron designs; each shoulder is ornamented with a total of twelve pavé set diamonds.
The ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain shank.
This impressive antique ring is fitted to a hinged leatherette presentation box, with a satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit catch; a contemporary AC Silver gift box may be provided if so desired.
This Ceylon sapphire and diamond ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.
This impressive antique ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card, in addition to a sapphire report certificate from The Gem and Pearl Laboratory Limited, 43 Kirby Street, London*.
Such large and stunning, natural non-heated sapphires displayed in the original setting, are becoming increasingly difficult to locate; this piece is a work of art in its own right.
NOTE: * The Gem & Pearl Laboratory has certified the natural sapphire originating in Sri Lanka (Ceylon) and verifies that the gemstone shows no evidence of heat treatment.
