The shoulders and shank of this antique ring are comprised of the wound body and tails of the snakes.

The hallmarks to the interior of the shank include the London Assay Office hallmark (leopard's head), the mark for 18 ct gold (18), the date letter for 1898 (c) and the maker's mark.
