This magnificent, fine and impressive antique diamond ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with a platinum setting.
This substantial 1920s ring is ornamented with a stunning central feature claw set 2.50ct Old European cut diamond.
The upper and lower portions of the feature diamond are bordered with six impressive individually collet set Old European diamonds, graduating in size.
The central segmented design is encompassed by twenty-two set Old European diamonds, pavé set within a millegrain decorated scalloped edged oval frame; this well balanced and low setting does not detract from the imposing presence of the ring.
The pierced decorated, elevated ring shoulders meld with the setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank.
This stunning 1920's antique ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold and platinum.
This magnificent cluster ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report certificate for the feature stone, in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
Such examples with a large spread, low set feature diamond are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
