This stunning, fine and impressive antique 1920s ruby ring has been crafted in 14ct yellow gold with a platinum setting.
The pierced decorated, rounded rectangular shaped setting displays a 0.26ct oval faceted cut ruby, millegrain decorated collet set to the centre of the design.
The ruby is flanked to the upper and lower portions by a feature Old European round cut diamond, all collet set in a vertical linear formation.
The central array is encompassed with a pierced decorated frame incorporating twelve pavé set Old European cut diamonds.
The trifurcating ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and are ornamented with three further pavé set diamonds in a combination of Old European and Dutch cuts; the shoulders blend seamlessly with the plain hallmarked ring shank.
The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the 14 carat gold mark (585) and has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 14 carat gold and platinum.
This impressive dress ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
A 1920s ruby and diamond dress ring, with its central ruby makes it an ideal gift for the 15th or 40th anniversary, which are traditionally associated with rubies. Its antique elegance also makes it a meaningful and stylish statement piece.
