This stunning fine and impressive 1970's gemstone brooch has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold with 18 ct white gold settings.
The brooch has been modelled in the form of a boat/yacht on water.
The pierced decorated setting is embellished with three paralleling rows to the hull of the boat incorporating eighty-four pavé set transitional modern brilliant cut diamonds.
The hull incorporates a millegrain decorated, individually collet set cabochon sapphire, replicating the details of a porthole window.
The gunwale was further embellished with eight pavé set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
The upper levels of the boat are embellished with twenty-four channel set calibre cut rubies, in addition to two mixed cut emeralds and a further cabochon cut sapphire.
The stern of the boat incorporates a flag design accented with two calibre cut rubies.
The undulating lower portion of the brooch features sixteen pairs of mixed cut sapphires, replicating the details of the water's waves.
The vintage brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp.
This vintage gemstone boat brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold.
