The scalloped outer circumference of the crescent is embellished with nineteen 15 ct yellow gold claw set graduated round faceted cut rubies, totalling 2.50ct.

The inner border of the design is ornamented with seventeen subtly graduated Old European cut diamonds.

The impressive pierced decorated brooch secures with a 9ct gold hinged pin and clasp to the reverse.

This stunning antique Victorian brooch bears the fineness hallmark (15CT) to the reverse and has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15ct and 9ct gold.
