2.53ct Ruby and 0.48ct Diamond, 18ct Yellow Gold Pendant - Vintage Circa 1980

This fine and impressive vintage ruby pendant has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold.

The pierced decorated quatrefoil-shaped frame is ornamented with a feature four-claw set 2.53ct oval faceted cut ruby.

The lower portion of the yellow gold frame is ornamented with paralleling wirework decoration, creating a scalloped design.

The apex of the feature gemstone is embellished with eleven individually four-claw set modern brilliant round cut diamonds.

This vintage pendant suspends from a contemporary 18ct yellow gold 18" curb chain via a tapering bale to the upper border and secures to the reverse with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening.

This pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold.
