The earrings secure to the reverse with an 18 ct white gold hinged latch fastening.
These stunning earrings are struck with Portuguese hallmarks, including the maker's mark, the white gold mark (ant*, minimum 800 standard) and the rooster mark*.
These vintage earrings have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold.
These impressive antique drop earrings are supplied with two independent diamond grading report certificates for the feature stones, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
* The nature of the hallmark surround determines that the piece was processed in the Porto Assay Office, and the rooster mark was added during the assembly process to ensure the full hallmarks were included upon completion. The rooster/ant marks were jointly used between 1938-1984; this in addition to the composition of the earrings determine them to be crafted circa 1950.
