This stunning vintage emerald engagement ring has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold.
The pierced decorated, elevated setting is ornamented with a stunning feature four claw set 2.80 ct octagonal cut Colombian emerald.
The upper and lower portions of the emerald are surrounded by an array of seven claw set modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
The central arrangement is flanked on either side by a total of twelve tapered baguette cut diamonds to complete the design.
The tapering pierced decorated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain shank.
This stunning large vintage emerald and diamond ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold.
The ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card for the diamonds, in addition to an emerald report card and certificate from the Gemmological Certification Services, London.
"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
