This stunning antique bangle has been crafted in 20 ct yellow gold.
The wider anterior face of this hinged bangle is embellished with three stunning collet set floral cabochon cut garnets, totalling 23.59 ct.
Each lobed garnet features a floral cinquefoil design, embellished with a claw set Old European cut diamond to the centre; the largest garnet further incorporates five Dutch cut diamonds to the arrangement.
The collet set garnets are each encompassed with a rope twist decorated border, in addition to an interlacing spiralling border, completing the design to the anterior portion.
The interior of the bangle bears the later engraved inscription 'M. A. M. Lean, 14.12.1919, from Tho. Ogibre'.
This impressive antique bangle opens via a flush hinge and secures with a push fit clasp to one side, benefitting from the additional security of a fine link safety chain; the flush hinge indicates the high quality of the piece.
