This magnificent, fine and impressive diamond cluster ring has been crafted in platinum.
The vintage pierced decorated setting (circa 1950) is ornamented with a feature antique 1.52 Old European cut diamond (circa 1860) collet set in subtle relief to the centre of the design.
The central diamond is encircled by a further ten antique Old European cut diamonds (circa 1900), all held within millegrain decorated collet settings.
Incorporating antique diamonds and precious gemstones into jewellery was common practice in the 1940's and 1950's.
The elevated tapering pierced decorated ring shoulders are accented with a subtle cuff design at the junction with the plain ring shank.
This stunning diamond cocktail ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.
The ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report certificate for the feature diamond in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
