This impressive vintage emerald ring has been crafted in 18 ct white gold.
The substantial pierced decorated frame features a central oval cut natural emerald, claw set in relief to the centre of the circular design.
This central gemstone is encompassed with twenty-four modern brilliant round cut diamonds, totalling 1.75ct.
The outer circumference of the cluster design is embellished with twelve claw set round cut natural emeralds, creating a scalloped edge.
The feature swept shoulders blend in to the plain hallmarked 18 ct white gold shank.
This vintage ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the maker's mark, the gold guarantee mark (crown), the 18ct gold fineness mark (750), the London Assay Office hallmark (leopard's head) and the date letter for 1975 (A).
This large emerald and diamond cocktail ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
