3.77ct Amethyst and 9ct Yellow Gold Dress Ring - Vintage 1972

This fine and impressive vintage amethyst ring has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold.

The ring has an oval form, embellished with a textured floral design.

The centre of the floriated design is ornamented with a feature 3.77ct oval cabochon cut amethyst, collet set in relief.

The multi-stranded, pierced decorated and shaped ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and amalgamate to form the plain, substantial ring shank.

The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the maker's mark 'PLS', the 9ct gold fineness mark (0.275), the date letter for 1972 (r) and the London Assay Office hallmark (leopard's head).

This vintage yellow gold and amethyst ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
