This impressive asymmetrical spray brooch displays a cluster array to the upper portion incorporating five stunning individually claw set cabochon cut blue sapphires totalling 35.50cts.
This arrangement is further ornamented with three stunning individually claw set oval faceted cut citrines, totalling 10.71cts.
The feature gemstone cluster is accented by eight platinum claw set eight cut diamonds.
The lower portion of the brooch is ornamented with seven curvilinear strands, each accented with a scrolling terminal.
Four of the seven yellow gold swirl terminals are accented with platinum settings featuring a total of sixty-two pavé set eight cut diamonds.
This fine example of vintage jewellery secures to the reverse with a hinged double prong pin and secure clasp fastening.
This 1950s brooch is hallmarked to the reverse of the setting with the 14ct gold fineness mark (14K). and has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 14ct gold and platinum.
