38.65ct Citrine and Ruby, 18ct Yellow Gold Turtle Brooch - Vintage French Circa 1960

This stunning, fine and impressive vintage turtle brooch has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold.

The vintage brooch has been realistically modelled in the form of a turtle.

The turtles shell is ornamented with a feature eight claw set oval cut 38.65ct citrine.

The turtle's skin is embellished with a textured engraved decoration.

The eyes of the turtle are represented by two collet set cabochon cut rubies.

The citrine brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged double pin and push fit clasp, and is hallmarked to the frame with the French patent mark 'DEPOSE SSM'.

This vintage gemstone brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18ct gold.

The brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report card.
