This stunning antique Art Deco necklace has been crafted in 18 ct white gold.
The Art Deco frame of the 1920s pendant displays a feature cushion cut 4.32 ct garnet, collet set within an 18 ct white gold millegrain decorated design to the centre of the arrangement.
The upper portion of this angular, geometric pendant is embellished with four individually collet set Old European cut diamonds, in addition to eight pavé set eight-cut diamonds to the symmetrical design.
Three impressive 18 ct white gold collet set Old European cut diamonds articulate and suspends from the lower portion of the aforementioned garnet, the central linear design terminating with a feature 0.20ct Old European cut diamond.
The pendant is suspended from a 16.5" chain via two ring loops to the upper portion of the design.
This Art Deco garnet and diamond pendant necklace is fitted to an impressive leatherette presentation box with a satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit catch.
The satin interior of the presentation case bears the retailer's mark 'Diamond Merchants, Goldsmiths Silversmiths, The AlexR Clark CO LD Court Jewellers, London'; this box and retailer are from the period of the piece.
This antique pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 ct gold.
The pendant is supplied with an independent diamond grading report certificate for the feature diamond, in addition to an independent diamond and gemstone grading report card for the garnet and supporting stones.
