This stunning, fine and impressive Edwardian amethyst necklace has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with a 9ct yellow gold chain.
The pierced decorated Art Nouveau design frame is ornamented with a feature collet set oval mixed cut amethyst.
The ornate setting is embellished with sixty-seven pavé set seed pearls, varying in size.
The frame suspends from a smaller quatrefoil shaped setting via two curb style chains.
The quatrefoil shaped setting is ornamented with a round mixed cut amethyst and a further four collet set seed pearls.
The pendant suspends from a Singapore style chain, securing with a conventional spring loaded bolt ring fastening.
The clasp is hallmarked with the mark for 9ct gold (9CT).
This antique Edwardian pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18ct gold.
