This impressive pierced decorated, sympathetic contemporary setting is embellished with an impressive six-claw set antique (circa 1900) 4.89ct Old European round cut diamond.
The subtly elevated ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the plain platinum hallmarked shank.
The contemporary platinum shank is hallmarked to the interior with the platinum mark (950), maker's mark (DOM) and the Birmingham Assay office hallmark (anchor).
This diamond ring is illustrated with a circa 1960's 14ct white gold setting; this can be used as an alternative upon request.
The elevated, pierced decorated ring shoulders of this alternative setting are embellished with forty-eight pavé set modern brilliant round cut diamonds, and the impressive eight claw basket setting incorporates six further pavé set diamonds.
The alternative setting has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 14ct white gold.
