This stunning, fine and impressive Art Deco sapphire ring has been crafted in platinum
The iconic Art Deco, pierced decorated setting is ornamented with a feature four claw set 5.21ct cabochon cut blue Basaltic sapphire.
The sapphire is flanked on either side by a pavé set Old European round cut diamond, a further fifty smaller pavé set Dutch cut diamonds complete the design.
The ring shoulders are embellished with a scrolling engraved decoration, melding with the plain ring shank.
The ring is hallmarked to the interior with the platinum fineness mark (950) and a worn maker's mark, in keeping with age.
This stunning antique Art Deco ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report card*.
NOTE: * The Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) lab has verbally accredited the sapphire originating in Basaltic deposits and verifies that the gemstone shows no indications of heating; non-heated sapphires are a scarcity.
