The impressive pierced decorated setting has been crafted in the shape of a balanced cross*.
The pendant is embellished with a stunning central round faceted cut amethyst, surrounded by four stunning pear faceted amethysts extending across the crossbars of the design.
The amethysts are encompassed by scrolling foliate decoration in yellow gold, completing the cross design.
The pendant suspends from an 18" yellow gold trace chain via a rope twist decorated ring loop attachment.
This antique amethyst cross pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 19 carat gold.
