The brooch has been stylistically modelled in the form of an insect.
The abdomen of the insect is represented by an 8.09ct cabochon cut chrysophrase, four claw set in white gold.
The body of the insect brooch is ornamented with five individually claw set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
The insect's wings are each represented by two rows of six pavé set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds to each side of the abdomen, totalling twenty-four diamonds.
The eye's of the insect are represented by two impressive collet set round faceted cut rubies, totaling 0.06cts.
The insect's legs are represented by four white gold strands which extend from the main body of the insect.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and push fit clasp.
