This stunning, fine and impressive vintage sapphire and diamond ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with an 18ct white gold setting.
The pierced decorated, cluster design is ornamented with a large and impressive central feature 18ct yellow gold collet set oval faceted cut 9.50ct Ceylon blue sapphire.
The sapphire is surrounded by fourteen Old European cut diamonds, each displayed in a scalloped 18ct white gold collet setting.
The flared ring shoulders are each embellished with two further Old European cut diamonds and blend with the hallmarked yellow gold ring shank.
The ring is hallmarked to the outer shank with the French import mark for 18ct gold (owl).
This large oval sapphire and diamond ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card in addition to a sapphire report and certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London*.
NOTE: * This documentation accredits the blue sapphire originating in Sri Lanka (Ceylon) and certifies that the gemstone shows no indications of heating; non-heated sapphires are a scarcity.
