This stunning, fine and impressive 1920s engagement ring has been crafted in platinum.
The ring displays a stunning feature 0.65ct round faceted cut Burmese ruby and a 0.48ct Old European cut diamond, each six-claw set diagonally on a twist within a pierced decorated basket style setting.
The curved ring shoulders integrate into the twist design and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank.
This impressive twist ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.
This platinum engagement ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report certificate for the feature diamond, in addition to an IDGL gemstone grading report card for the ruby*.
Such original examples set with high quality gemstones are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
NOTE: * The Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) lab has verbally accredited the ruby originating in Myanmar (Burma) and verifies that the gemstone shows no indications of heat treatment.
