This stunning, fine and impressive antique 1920's diamond drop pendant has been crafted in 18ct gold with 18ct white gold settings.
This antique pendant is ornamented with a feature claw set 0.38ct and 0.37ct Old European round cut diamond, displayed to the lower portion of two articulated linear drops.
Each feature diamond is encompassed with a yellow gold halo ornamented with a festoon style border.
The graduating linear drops are each accented pavé set Dutch cut diamonds incorporated into white gold simplified quatrefoil-shaped floral designs.
The linear settings suspends from an interlacing organic frame ornamented with a two further claw set Old European round cut diamonds, completing the design.
The necklace suspends from a 14" yellow gold chain via two integrated ring loops to the upper border of the setting, securing with a conventional spring loaded bolt ring fastening to the reverse.
The fastening is hallmarked with the French 18ct gold mark (eagle's head) and the antique diamond drop necklace has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18ct gold.
The necklace is supplied with two IDGL diamond grading report certificates for the feature diamonds in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
Such finely crafted examples in this high fineness of gold from this period are rare to the market.
