This stunning, fine and impressive antique 1920s diamond brooch has been crafted in 14ct yellow gold with 14ct white gold settings.
The articulating tear-shaped double stranded terminal incorporates an impressive millegrain decorated collet set 0.77ct Old European cut diamond.
The feature diamond suspends from a paired leaf design embellished with two pavé set Dutch cut diamonds and further collet set diamond.
The apex of the tear-shaped frame incorporates a further collet set Old European cut diamonds to the nadir of a linear bar setting accented with a single pavé set diamond to the centre.
The apex of the brooch setting is embellished with a three-dimensional ribbon bow motif, embellished with a collet set diamond to the knot, completing the design.
The brooch secures with a hinged pin and clasp to the reverse.
This versatile bow brooch may also be worn as a diamond pendant necklace via the original loop attachment to the reverse or threaded through the brooch pin; the hinged pin may be removed if so required, allowing the piece to lay flat against the chest as a pendant.
The pendant suspends from a contemporary 9ct yellow gold 18" curb chain, securing with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening.
The brooch/pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 14ct gold.
This impressive 1920s white gold diamond bow brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report certificate for the feature stone, in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
