This stunning, fine and impressive antique pendant has been crafted in 15ct yellow gold.
The symmetrical, sinuous design is ornamented with a stunning feature millegrain decorated collet set round faceted cut pink tourmaline, encircled with ten pearls to the centre of the frame.
The subtly convex frame of this impressive pendant is embellished with a total of fifty-one seed pearls, incorporated into leaf and bow designs.
The lower portion of the design supports an articulated collet set pear faceted cut pink tourmaline, surmounted with a further paired leaf design embellished with two pavé set seed pearls.
The pendant is suspended from a contemporary 18ct yellow gold 45.72cm/18" chain via a detachable navette shaped bale accented with three further graduated pavé set seed pearls.
This versatile pink tourmaline pendant in yellow gold may also be worn as a brooch via a hinged pin and clasp to the reverse; this may be removed if so required, allowing the piece to only be worn as a pendant.
This pendant/brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15 carat gold.
This antique tourmaline and pearl pendant brooch is supplied with an IDGL gemstone grading report card.
The brooch benefits from being fitted to the original hinged leatherette presentation box with a satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit catch.
