This stunning, fine and impressive antique diamond brooch has been crafted in platinum with 18ct yellow gold settings.
The sweetheart brooch has been modelled in the form of the Royal Air Force cap badge; a central 'RAF' emblem mounted to an 18ct yellow gold green hot enamel laurel wreath, flanked on either side by feathered wings and ornamented with the red hot enamel coronet to the upper border.
The feathered wings and crown designs are embellished with ninety-four pave set eight-cut diamonds and the RAF emblem bears twenty-five pave set Dutch cut diamonds.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and safety clasp.
This antique enamel brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum and 18 carat gold.
