The brooch has been modelled in the form of a crown/coronet.
The pierced decorated band of the crown is embellished with alternating Old European cut diamonds and round faceted cut sapphires, each pavé set within lozenge shaped settings.
This impressive band is surmounted with a curvilinear arrangement of fleur-delist, incorporating thirty pavé set diamonds and five natural yellow diamonds, in addition to a single claw set diamond to each incurve.
The upper portion of this magnificent antique brooch incorporates protruding pales displaying six individually claw set natural brown diamonds, alternating with stunning natural pearls.
The lower border of the crown bears a curvilinear border of thirteen Old European cut diamonds, completing the design.
