This stunning, fine and impressive antique sapphire and diamond ring has been crafted in platinum.
The pierced decorated setting displays a feature collet set 2.05ct oval faceted cut Basaltic sapphire, encompassed with a paralleling halo of sixteen pavé set eight cut diamonds.
The central sapphire cluster design is flanked with a 0.55ct and a 0.49ct transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond, each individually six-claw set in a linear formation, completing the design.
The elevated and pierced decorated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain hallmarked ring shank.
The trilogy style ring is hallmarked to the outer surface of the shank with the French import platinum mark (masked man).
This impressive antique sapphire ring is supplied with two IDGL diamond grading report certificates for the feature stones, in addition to an IDGL gemstone grading report card for the supporting stones*.
An antique sapphire and diamond ring is a timeless choice for engagements, anniversaries and milestone birthdays; especially for September-born recipients. As the gemstone of the 5th and 45th wedding anniversaries, it symbolises enduring love and commitment.
NOTE: * The Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) lab has verbally (report number 5785-1207) accredited the sapphire originating in Basaltic deposits and verifies that the gemstone shows no indications of heat treatment.
