This stunning, fine and impressive antique mother of pearl brooch has been crafted in 12ct yellow gold with silver settings.
The brooch has been modelled in the form of a turtle, with articulating limbs.
The circular-shaped shell of the turtle is embellished with a collet set mother of pearl.
Each leg of the turtle is ornamented with three pavé set Dutch cut diamonds, with a further three diamonds to the protruding tail.
The head of the turtle is embellished with ten pavé set Dutch cut diamonds, in addition to two peridots replicating the reptile's eyes.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening.
This antique brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 12 carat gold and silver.
