The pendant has an impressive symmetrical scrolling frame, incorporating an impressive central copper enamel panel depicting a female portrait, all in the Art Nouveau manner; this copper panel indicates the high quality for the period.
The lower border of this desirable Art Nouveau enamel pendant in gold is ornamented with three collet set Dutch cut diamonds, each supporting an articulating swept drop accented with a further pavé set diamond; the central drop terminates with a further collet set diamond.
The interlacing scrolling upper border of the pendant incorporates three collet set Dutch cut diamonds, completing the design.
The Art Nouveau pendant suspends from an 17" 15ct yellow gold chain via an integrated bale to the reverse of the scrolling upper border of the frame.
This antique pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold with a 15 carat chain.
