This stunning, fine and impressive antique pendant has been crafted in 12ct yellow gold.
The impressive oval shaped black onyx panel is embellished with an impressive feature round bead cut coral to the anterior surface.
The central coral is encompassed with eighteen individually collet set demantoid garnets*, totalling 0.36ct.
The reverse of the pendant is fitted with a push fit glass panel which allows a personal memento or keepsake to be displayed.
This black onyx pendant is suspended from an 18" 18 ct yellow gold curb chain via a stylised fleur-de-lis bale ornamented with black hot enamel decoration in addition to a collet set round beat cut coral.
The chain secures with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening to the reverse.
This Victorian gold locket has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 12 carat gold.
The antique onyx pendant with coral is supplied with an independent gemstone grading report card.
NOTE: * Demantoid is the green variety of andradite garnet and is the most valuable and rare of the garnet family. Some gemstones are more valuable for their inclusions, and horsetail inclusions can be regarded as preferable features in demantoid due to their indication of distinguished Russian origin.
