This stunning, fine and impressive antique Victorian brooch has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with a silver setting.
The oval-shaped setting is ornamented with a feature oval crystal panel, embellished with an engraved scene depicting Cupid and Psyche*.
The feature panel is encompassed with a pierced decorated frame accented with four yellow gold collet set square faceted emeralds to the cardinal points, totalling 0.14ct.
This impressive border is further accented with subtly curvilinear pales flanking the aforementioned emeralds and stylised bow designs, all incorporating forty-four diamonds in a combination of Dutch and mine cuts.
This antique crystal brooch with emeralds secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and sheath fastening.
