This exceptional Danish sterling silver dish has an oval tapering form onto a shaped pedestal and panelled decagon foot.
The surface of this fine example of antique silverware is plain and has a planished finish.
The impressive Georg Jensen dish is supported by an impressive chased leaf decorated pedestal foot, accented with a spindle design to the upper portion and applied ball ornamentation, all in the Arts and Crafts style.
The broad collet style panelled rim is plain and unembellished.
The underside of this silver dish bears the contemporary engraved initials 'J.M.C'.
